DeskripsyonBrunotartessus fulvus adults DC6.jpg
English: Yellow-headed Leafhoppers (Brunotartessus fulvus) adults are reddish-brown in colour with pale-bright yellow thorax and head. When disturbed, they hide to the other side of the leaf. If further disturbed, they hop away and disappear. There are five nymphal stages and one generation per year. Leafhopper nymphs and adults are sapsuckers which feed on the leaves, twigs and branches of the host tree. These are commonly found on Forest Red Gum (Eucalyptus tereticornis) saplings in Dungog Common.
