English: Dog stinkhorn (Mutinus caninus). I had seen these unusual fungii here about 3 weeks previously (see 544210). This is a very fresh specimen which looks quite different from the older ones I had photographed then. The green spore mass on the tip is still present and sticky, and it has a faint sickly-sweet smell.
