As he traverses a rock wall, this little bush cricket gets a sense for what's around him with his feelers, called maxillary palpi. The genus name Phyllopalpus actually refers to these leaf shaped maxillary palpi.
The prefix 'Phyllo-' means leaf and '-palpus' is the singular form of palpi!
The species name, puchellus, is of course latin for something little and beautiful. Fitting, I'd say.
