Native, warm-season, perennial, low-growing, creeping herb. It spreads by runners and is
occasionally mat forming. Leaves are round, to 12 mm wide, sparsely hairy and with entire or shallowly lobed margins. Found in moist, shady and sheltered sites, such as
in gully lines, swamp edges, around logs and under trees. Native biodiversity. Although readily grazed by livestock, it is generally of little importance for grazing as it often grows in
inaccessible areas, most leaf grows very close to the ground and is a very minor component of most pastures. Useful as a groundcover in shaded disturbed areas, such as under trees along stream banks.
