Deskripsyon
English: A rainforest snail from the genus Meridolum, 4 cm shell length. At Camp Gully Creek, Garawarra State Conservation Area, Australia. (Just after this photo was taken, the snail fell backwards into Camp Gully Creek.) I restored the snail to its original position after the photo was taken.(-34.18506 south, 151.00581 east). The Australian Museum identified the snail as Meridolum marshalli. However, Michael Shea of the Australian museum says that recent research suggests this species is genetically identical to Meridolum gulosum.
