Hisgot:Dolores, Eastern Samar

One of the exellent scholarships in the Philippines is the DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP. Before you avail the said scholarship you must pass first the qualifying exams.Mainly this year the examination was held at ESSU,and the batch '06 took up the said scolarship. There were more than thirty students in DNHS who took up and the result was posted in the internet last march '06. In the whole eastern visayas there were 1000 plus students who took up the said scholarship and there were only 88 students who passed,in eastern samar there were 7 who qualified. I think two from Borongan,one from Sulat,one from Can-avid and three from Dolores-they are Mariane Inciso,Vanessa Bingco and Francel Diaz. They are so bllesed and we must be thankful to them becauce they may be our heroes someday.
