Object history
Deutsch: Der Zinnenturm ist von der Schildfigur der Herren von Waldthurn hergeleitet und symbolisiert zugleich die Burg Trausnitz, die durch die Haft des Gegenkönigs Friedrichs des Schönen in den Jahren 1322 bis 1325 als Schauplatz der deutschen Geschichte berühmt wurde. Auf diesen Kampf zwischen Ludwig dem Bayern und dem Habsburger um das deutsche Königtum bezieht sich auch die Krone; durch die Inhaftierung Friedrichs des Schönen war die Auseinandersetzung um das Doppelkönigtum zugunsten Ludwigs des Bayern entschieden. Der Dreiberg im Schildfuß verweist auf die Lage der Gemeinde im Hügelland an der Pfreimd.
