This mausoleum was repaired by the National Monuments Society in 1340 AH (i.e. 1961 AD) and it shows that its construction date is much earlier. According to article 16 of the Iranian copyright law, since this monument belonged to a person in legal position, the author's financial rights would be valid for a period of only 30 years from the date of public presentation. This means the monument was out of copyright protection much earlier than 1370 AH (1991 AD) and I was free to take pictures of it (Please note that there is no freedom of panorama exception in the Iranian copyright law). |
