Dansk: Klippe-Potentil (Potentilla hookeriana) fotograferet i aftensol ved lufthavnen i Upernavik, Grønland. Jeg er ikke 100% sikker på artsbestemmelsen, Bladene som er skåret væk i dette udsnit i frohold til originalen kunne også ligne Sne-Potentil (Potentilla nivea). De to arter er meget ens og kan nemt forveksles. Jeg har dog efterfølgende (da jeg vidste hvad jeg skulle kigge efter) positivt identificeret flere andre Klippe-Potentiler nærved, men aldrig Sne-Potentil. Jeg regner det derfor som overvejende sandsynligt at dette er en Klippe-Potentil. Ift. originalen er dette billede beskåret, farvemætningen er øget en anelse, der er justeret let på farvekurven, og billedet er skærpet ganske let med en unsharp mask med pixelradius på én og en amount på ca. 50%.
English: Potentilla hookeriana photographed in evening sun near the airport in Upernavik, Greenland. The species identification is not entirely certain. Leaves, which are cut out in this image from the the original could also indicate that the plant is the closely related species Potentilla nivea. However, I have afterwards (when I knew what to look for) positively identified other P. hookeriana in the area, but never seen a P. nivea. I therefore find it highly probable that it is a P. hookeriana. This image is a trimmed version with slightly increased saturation, and minor colour-curve adjustment. An unsharp mask with pixel radius 1.0 and ammount of approx. 50% has been applied. |
