Wappenbeschreibung

Aufgrund der §§ 6 und 35 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 der Gemeindeordnung für das Land Brandenburg - GO - vom 15. Oktober 1993 (GVBl. I S. 398) zuletzt geändert durch Artikel 1 des Gesetzes vom 13.03.2001 (GVBl. I S. 30) hat die Stadtverordnetenversammlung Beelitz in ihrer Sitzung am 23.1.2002 die Hauptsatzung der Stadt Beelitz beschlossen.

§ 2

Wappen und Flagge

(1) Das Wappen der Stadt zeigt in Silber den roten brandenburgischen Adler mit goldenen Kleeblattstengeln auf den Saxen, in den Fängen rechts einen Schlüssel und links einen Halbmond in Gold, bekrönt von einer dreifach gezinnten grauen Mauerkrone.

(2) Die Stadt Beelitz führt als Flagge die brandenburgischen Landesfarben, in der Mitte das Beelitzer Stadtwappen.
