Русский: Балка Второй лог находится в западной части Сенгилеевской котловины, на землях Шпаковского района. Длина балки 3,9 км, ширина до 200 м. Это участок реликтовой целинной разнотравно-злаковой степи с типчаком, тонконогом, ковылем Лессинга, костром кровельным. Одно из двух мест на Ставропольской возвышенности, где произрастает эремурус замечательный, занесенный в Красную книгу РФ. Балка охраняется как рефугиум, где сохраняется генофонд эндемичных, редких и исчезающих растений ставропольской степи. English: The second log is a natural monument. General view of the reserve.
