Crusea coccinea - the green trailing plant here with the scarlet flowers, came to us from Edrom, a Scottish nursery. They claim it's quite hardy, and they should know. This is my first year with it so I'm taking no chances but I can see it making a very pretty ground cover in a sheltered spot. I also have plans for a pot or hanging basket with both these plants. It's a member of the Rubiaceae incidentally.
